Inés Gómez Mont Detained Wearing Stella McCartney Sneakers

Inés Gómez Mont’s recent detention in the United States has drawn attention not only to her legal troubles but also to her choice of attire during the arrest. Among the items that stood out were a pair of white sneakers from the collaboration between British designer Stella McCartney and Adidas.
The sneakers, identified as the CC Revolution Low-Top model, feature a white fabric upper with small perforations and matching laces. Their distinctive design includes a rubber sole with lateral openings. On platforms like eBay, new pairs of these sneakers are listed for around $99, equivalent to approximately 1,800 Mexican pesos. However, prices can rise to as much as 2,000 Mexican pesos.
A Blend of Fashion and Functionality
The Adidas x Stella McCartney collaboration began in 2004, with the first collections hitting the market in 2005. The partnership aimed to create sportswear for women that combines functionality and performance with high-fashion design elements. Over the years, the line has expanded to include running shoes, training apparel, and sports accessories. The brand has also experimented with various materials and manufacturing technologies.
Gómez Mont’s choice of footwear during her detention highlights the sneakers’ appeal as both a fashion statement and a practical option. The CC Revolution model, with its unique sole design, exemplifies the collaboration’s focus on merging style and utility.
